Get in touch →Matis, Inc. is a third-generation, family-owned distribution leader for die and mold makers, fixture builders, and manufacturers. Founded in 1955 by Joe and Dorothy Matis, the company was later led by Dan and Sandy Matis, and is now run by Jay and Laurel Joss.

What's your typical lead time on orders?
Most stock items ship same-day or next-day from our Chicago Ridge facility — one of the largest parts inventories in the Midwest. Special orders and non-stock items vary by manufacturer; our sales team will give you a firm lead time when you place your order.
Is there a minimum order requirement?
No minimum order is required. Whether you need a single die spring or a full press room setup, our team is happy to help.
Can you source parts that aren't listed on your website?
Yes. The categories on this site represent our core lines, but we work with 26+ manufacturer partners and can source specialty and non-catalog items. Email sales@matis.com with your part number or specification and we'll track it down.
Do you offer local pickup / will-call?
Yes, will-call pickup is available at our Chicago Ridge location during business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT). Call ahead at 708-425-7100 so we can have your order ready.
Do you ship outside the Chicago area?
Absolutely — we ship throughout the Midwest and nationwide. Most orders go out via common carrier, with expedited shipping available for urgent needs.
